Spending money is easy. Saving money is difficult. We already knew that – individually. We are now learning that lesson collectively – as a nation, in our states, and in our local governments.

A subscriber (actually a former subscriber’s daughter, if memory serves) recently sent me an old issue of The Bee she had come across. It was 27 years old – May 1983.
Several of the items in the beekeeping news nearly three decades back seemed current. Unfortunately, some dealt with vexing problems that have yet to be solved.
